About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Manager – Project to lead all electrical engineering, installation, and commissioning activities for the construction of a new sugar factory. The role carries full responsibility for the planning, execution, and delivery of the electrical scope of work, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and approve electrical designs, drawings, and technical specifications.

• Plan and supervise installation of substations, MCCs, VFDs, cabling, and lighting systems.

• Lead testing and commissioning of electrical systems, ensuring reliability and compliance.

• Manage contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring timely delivery.

• Coordinate closely with mechanical, instrumentation, and process teams for system integration.

• Enforce electrical safety standards across the project site.

• Prepare reports, documentation, and regular updates to senior management.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.

• Experience: Minimum 10+ years in industrial construction projects.

• Preferred Certification: PMP (Project Management Professional).

• Industry Exposure: Experience in large-scale process plants, energy-intensive facilities, or industrial projects is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong leadership and team management abilities.

• Proven experience in project planning, execution, and commissioning.

• Expertise in HT/LT distribution, MCCs, drives, and automation systems.

• Knowledge of IEC standards and power system studies.

• Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

• Safety-driven mindset with risk management awareness.
